Meet Angie Branaes

Angie Branaes grew up in Norway, lives in England, and spends her summers in Italy and France. She realised that speaking the local language was essential for daily life abroad - from chatting with neighbours, to maintaining a holiday home, and shopping at the market. Disappointingly, she found language apps too touristy, and books too complex and irrelevant for everyday situations. This sparked Angie’s mission to create practical language books focused on the vocabulary needed for real-life interactions. Her books emphasise simple language and everyday phrases, empowering learners to communicate with confidence in any situation.
